NEWFOUNDLAND RUGHOOKER
Wednesday, June 1, 2011
This is a rug I hooked a long time ago. I used the pattern from Deanne Fitzpatricks book. I used a variety of fabrics. A lot of the wool is recycled.I used red velour in the roof. Yarn for the grass,A soft blue wooly sweater for the water, and did the border with a thick wooly yarn. I like how it turned out. A few of the women around here have hooked Deannes patterns. She always has such wonderful stuff and it is nice to see her work...... Today is sunny.I do plan a walk and I have finished the painting.I need to iron my cotton sheer curtains . The ironing board is pulled out so that is a start....I have been planting a few new flowers and have the grandfather rug done...Now the whipping need to get done.......I also have to whip the mola fish and paisley......That is the part of rughooking that I do not like........Oh well........It is June first today soI am thinking summer and holidays.......Ya!!!!!!!Must finish off my tea and get moving.........
